I worked for many years as a senior IP lawyer at the law firm of Beyer & Weaver, LLP., and provided legal services and strategic counseling to many public and privately held companies involved in software applications and services, networking and telecommunications, data storage systems, online advertising, network gaming, cloud computing, e-commerce and financial transaction networks, and social networking. I also served as General Counsel and Director of Intellectual Property for a number of start-up clients, successfully guiding them through various due diligence and M&A activities.
I received my J.D. from the University of San Francisco, School of Law, and earned dual degrees from the University of California at Santa Barbara, including a B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a B.A. degree in Psychology. He is a member of the California State Bar, District of Columbia Bar, and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
